Just last week I was thinking of doing a gallery modeled after your 'Living on a Fixed Income'. You were, and will continue to be, an inspiration. Thank you for leaving us your galleries. You were witty, warm and talented, and a bright spot on PBase. Enjoy the next great adventure.

Never get drunk and leave your friends too early. Then again, a lady always knows when to leave a party, before it starts to become a drag. Toni, we pulled some really good fun here at Pbase. You will not be forgotten. You inspired and got me going on my Faery Fae work. Fly with the faeries, go tickle the moose, see what is in the jungle, save me a place next to you. Your friend from 3000 miles away, we touched only through the wires, Ellsworth Weaver

Hiya! Thanks for the lovely comment on my rose photos. The truth is that I'm a terribly lazy gardener, so I have the regimen boiled down to some very simple steps (yay soaker hoses) and the roses do the rest, along with perennials and grasses.
I've been a fan of your galleries ever since your '$103 a Day' gallery - I love your mom!
Your photography has such a great range, from silly to very subtle. Love it.
And thanks again.

Hi Toni, thanks for all the comments in my trees album. I feel guilty, haven't been back to yours, but I actually am too busy lately (even though I'm retired, or is that because..ha ha). I've been occupied with 'weather photos', sending them in to one of the tv stations who uses them on the telly when they tell us the weather forcast. They used some of my photos wich is very nice of course because they put your name on it too. Alas for me, I can't see them myself because I live way out in open country land and can't get that particular station. But friends told me.
Soon I will upload them on pbase.

Just checking back in after a long while Toni. How are you doing these days? I am very pleased to see that you update your galleries frequently. This has kept me coming back to see what you have added. Keep adding pictures! I wish you good health and prosperity! Bye. - Frank
Toni Moore22-Mar-2005 23:52
That's not a problem at all Janet. Send me a link to view when you are done. I told Rosie and she blushed. She is really handling all her fame quite well. Toni
Janet 22-Mar-2005 19:38
Your Rosie pictures are wonderful. I've been looking for a couple of chicken pictures I can extract from the background and artify (is that a word?). May I borrow a couple to paint on? I'll be adding eggs and a barn to the finished piece and changing things quite a bit, so if you are concerned, please let me know.

Again, your Rhode Island Red named Rosie is a GREAT bird.

Time to thank you personally for all the lovely comments in my galleries.
I've updated the spider's world, made it into a book with little poems. Let me know if you like it this way.
I still haven't seen all your photos yet, always lacking of time, as it is almost 3.00 am local time again, it sure is bedtime for me. I'll be back, but I loved what I've seen.

Toni,

Firstly, thanks so much for you comments on my earlier galleries. I've been a lifelong photographer, but a. not in this medium, and b. not at all of this subject matter. I have a lot to learn to become poficient in both. In any event, I really enjoyed the variety of your photos. I paricularly enjoyed the range of style and subject you presented, and most of all your Pine Barren & fall photos. Of all things, although I've lived in Seattle for 23 years now, I grew up in East Rutherford, NJ. In fact, I just brought my mother to the airport to go back after the holidays. As much as there is to offer here, I miss it there increasingly more and more. We're thinking that sometime we'll return.

Best regards and thank you for your photos. I will often return.

Rich

No John, you didn't get it. It was a reference to the fact that my mother was spending too much money eating out each day and the amount 103 dollars was pulled out of the air. She was oblivious to the expense while enjoying the fun of it. Toni
John Shackford 21-Dec-2004 08:44
Re this book. I suppose you are trying to say, that £108 dollars a day is peasent money and virtual impovrishment will follow? Wow! A hundred dollars a day-rich pickings. UK pension is approx $150 per WEEK.
Get real here.

Hi Toni,

Thank you for the commments on the baby. She is the daughter of a Retouching forum member that I visit on dpreview.com and the mother asked for some work on the picture. The one I like the most is the one that looks like a pastel. I used the pastel plugin from Nik Multimedia. If you have a picture you want touched up. Please let me know. I will be happy to help you.

Hey, Toni! I guess they rotate periodically but I noticed earlier this evening that your Michael Moore gallery was under "Example Galleries" as the first of four "Selected randomly from the popular galleries page" on the pbase.com home page...Kudos! Oh & I loved your shots from yesterday afternoon...especially the bench & fence. Autumn isn't quite that colorful here yet--in fact, I'm not sure I've ever seen it that pretty anywhere! Happy Halloween! Love, Retha

Toni:

I just noticed your kind remarks left at my Fruit and Vegetables Gallery. I have been a pbase supporter since April of this year and have NEVER had anyone leave a comment. LOTS of people look - but nobody comments! I am thrilled.

I live in Panama - the bright, colorful, warm tropics. When you're feeling cold and grey in the north this winter - stop by and have a look I'm always adding something new!

You have some wonderful photographs I have really enjoyed looking at. Many thanks.

Ok, now I remember! She is beautiful. I bet you have some old photos of her when she was in her 20's! I have a picture of my grandmother, that was just beautiful. I do have pictures of our adoptive daughter, but not on pbase, but on winkflash. If you're curious, email me at speedracercd@yahoo.com, and I'll give you the link. Caron!

Hi Toni, not sure what "kind" comment I left!

I know you signed my son's guestbook too.
http://www.pbase.com/gregoryd/guestbook

And to answer your post, I probably won't post
anymore on my old page due to not being a
pbase supporter, it was just a free trial
thing. I am a pbase supporter for my son.
He's the photographer in the family. Almost
16! I figured I'd support him and just do
the trial thing for me.

Thanks again, Caron

Oh and if this shows my name as Garydeck
that's my husband. I just created another
free trial account showing our addition.
LOL -- I guess I should just create an
account for my self and pay the $23 since
I have my son's old camera now and really
enjoy taking and posting! Yeah, I better
do that! lol

Thanks for spending time (a lot of time) in my galleries and for the kind words about my work. At work I have stolen a few moments to look through your galleries and know I must return when I have more time. The work I looked at seems very intriguing. The curb feelers are a nice touch. Having fun with photography is what it is all about.

Do you raise bats or were they just hanging around your place?

When these little blessings come into our life we think we are helping them - but I think they actually are teaching us. Best of luck with little Lucky and much joy.

There are current pictures of Polly in the gallery. She is almost two years old now and a real character. I can't get over how tiny she was when we came together.
Lisa26-Sep-2004 22:20

I saw your "Polly" picture and I thought I was reading my own story. We have a little guy who is now about 3 weeks old that we found in our trash can. He didn't even have his eyes open yet. We have decided to name him "Lucky". Looking forward to more pictures of Polly as she grows..
